The Haunting of Blye Street (5E)
(Provided courtesy of Windmill Slam Games) A low-level horror exploration adventure for the world's greatest RPG! For years, Blye Street, in the hamlet of Harvel’s Joust has attracted visitors from far and wide. It had a reputation for being the best shopping experience that the province had to offer: fine clothing, dear perfumes, children’s toys, books, delicacies from all over the world, quality arms and armor, and even items of magical nature could be found here - for the right price. On a cold autumn night three years ago, a thick torrent of smoke sprouted from Blye Street. The fire razed like the flames were fanned by the devil himself, engulfing the street and the neighboring houses in an inferno. After the fire brigade had managed to douse the final fires, not much was left standing.Over two dozen people were believed to have died in that fire, but only two bodies were ever recovered. Although the townsfolk believe that the fire was started intentionally, no culprit was ever arrested. In the aftermath, Blye Street was sealed off from the public. With its main attraction torched and its wealthiest entrepreneurs either dead or destitute, most townsfolk abandoned the Harvel’s Joust. Only a handful of inhabitants remain, and all know to stay away from Blye Street. Those that left, however, started a rumor that leaped through the inns, taverns, and alehouses of the country like an ember in a hayshed. According to those that have left, one night every year, the Night of the Inferno, Blye Street rises from its ashes. The party returns to Blye Street on this night to find answers. Who started the fire? And Why? And what is causing the once-lauded shopping street to rise from its ashes like a phoenix?Free0% OFFThe Wandering Eye
The Wandering Eye is a supplement designed to bring grevious injuries into a setting that is compatible with 5E products. This supplement is intended for players who want more depth to characters who fall in combat beyond just dying. If your party doesn't play with any negative impacts to dying then this supplement may not be for you. However if dying has serious detriments in your game then you may be interested in this product. This supplment offers rolepleying opportunities beyond death, for what would happen if your character lost a hand or had their foot eaten by a troll, how would that affect their adventuring. WARNING! This product is not for the feint of heart and deals with serious injuries and will have a player deal with those detriments. If you prefer a safer world this is NOT the product for you. *It should be noted this Product is 13 pages of rules, including an Injury chart, special prosthetics for a character to purchase including risking surgical limb attachment fro ...ahem generous donors. There is even a small hook (no pun intended) for an adventure.$2.50Total Party Kill - Properly Challenging Encounters for OSR and Similar Games
Players are dicks. You go to all the trouble of crafting a fantastic adventure with deep and meaningful NPCs and memorable encounters, and they head off in the opposite direction with a comedy goblin you made up to populate a coaching inn. The bastards. Sometimes you just want a little payback. It is often said that the only limit in the world of tabletop RPGs is your imagination. However, we frequently limit those imaginations and find it very hard to stray from the sacred cows of the hobby. In traditional role-playing games, and increasingly since the shift toward narrative play in the 1990s, the players and Games Master work together to overcome challengesand tell an engaging story. However, what if you want to switch things up and try a different approach? To do something radically different, even heretical? What if, instead of working together, the players are pitted against a common foe: the Games Master? This booklet introduces a new style of tabletop RPG gameplay, where the players must navigate a world filled with danger and treachery, where the Games Master is playingthe role of the ultimate adversary and is explicitly out to get them. The stakes are higher than ever, and the players must work together to outsmart and outmanoeuvre the Games Master's cunning traps and devious plans while he does his best to anticipate and overcome their usual shenanigans. This adversarial gameplay mode offers a fresh and exciting challenge for experienced and novice players alike. It encourages creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cooperative play in ways different from traditional RPGs.By turning the usual mode of collaborative storytelling on its head, this game offers a unique experience that will keep players coming back for more of a challenge and encourage the Games Master to think about encounters and hazards in a new light. So, are you ready to take on the challenge? Gather your group, choose your characters, and prepare to face the ultimate test of skill, cunning and emotional continence in Total Party Kill.$2.49Vanguard Fighter
