  Zombies, yeah, I know, they have been done to death... But there's a catch, these are beach zombies. Ok, that was already covered by a few video games. Wait: it's a George Romero and J.G. Ballard crossover about a Zombie Apocalypse set in a formerly luxurious – but now decaying – summer resort in Portugal during the 1980s. That has never been done, right? Phew, that was a close call! Resort of the Dead provides you with a sandbox-type location and a cast of characters to run your zombie apocalypse scenario. You can use the Wretchploitation rules, or you can run it in other games.All around, there are pristine beaches, crystal clear waters, lovely cafés and restaurants, drunken Brits, sunburnt (nearly overcooked) Germans, and obnoxious American tourists complaining, in broken Spanish, to the lazy-ass Portuguese manager about some minor issue, such as the room's TV set not working properly during the Armageddon. We do understand Spanish here, by the way, but it's not our native language. Just to make that clear! Anyway, we are here to provide you with the perfect spot to be killed by zombies. Well, not that perfect; the Torralba resort has seen much better days. But at least it's cheap. However, we'll screw you over the restaurant bill, and watch out for those cab drivers, too; they'll rip you off. Welcome to sunny Portugal, have fun being devoured by the undead hordes!

It should be run like a low-budget horror movie with adult themes treated in an extremely distasteful way. The scenario takes place in a fictional town, Hammettville, located in the surrounding area of a large metropolis - such as New York -, known among its inhabitants as Crime City, and it should be set from the early 1970s to mid-1980s, as those decades are more in line with the kind of horror movie being emulated. As with every other Red Room scenario, this is a sandbox-style adventure with enough information and plot seeds to last from a one-shot to a small campaign.   Simple Sixes Revised

  Simple Sixes Revised is an expanded version of the original Simple Sixes rules set that I published way back in 2008. The system uses standard six-sided dice with a 2d6 roll high mechanic to beat a difficulty number set by the Game Master. I hadn't touched the rules for several years as I had begun developing another system and let this one sit as is. Now that I've had some time to tackle it with some better tools, I have enhanced the game and made it more robust with options that will allow you to use Simple Sixes for any genre you wish to play in.   The year is 1993, Portugal is settling into a democracy and trying hard to become a modern First World country, but the pace of this quick transformation is not without its scars. When the old and the new clash, something gotta give; those who cannot keep up with the pace will be left behind. Lisbon, the capital, is filled with contradictions,it is growing and transforming itself into a modern city, but the traces of poverty that still plague the country are obvious. Drug traffic and consumption have escalated dangerously along with gang related violence. But the worse is yet to come. When the body of a young prostitute is found eviscerated in the Monsanto hills, soon to be followed by another one, the police quickly conclude they are facing a serial killer, a type of criminal they know only from American movies. The media goes crazy with the news of the “Lisbon Ripper” and panic spreads among the local prostitutes. In this scenario, the players will take the role of police detectives, journalists, or amateur sleuths trying to uncover the identity of the Lisbon Ripper.

  Something Wretched This Way Comes

  As the title so obviously implies, this scenario is heavily inspired by Ray Bradbury's Something Wicked this Way Comes. Just like in Bradbury's dark fantasy novel, there's a mysterious travelling troupe arriving in a small town and granting people's wishes. As in the source material, making the townsfolk's desires come true is just a ruse for evil beings to feed upon their life force (and maybe a little more than that). Of course, the events will not be the same, the carnival is replaced by a European circus troupe, and this adventure allows the players to take the roles not only of children but also of the adults being tricked into submission or even the evil circus people. Naturally, this being a Red Room release, the adventure couldn't be as innocent as Bradbury's tale. That's why we crossed it over with the horrific and exploitative imagery of sexy fumetti, Italian adult comics of the 1970s/ 1980s.

However, this was merely the surface-level finding. The records of a 17th-century Portuguese knight revealed the Order of Christ's progress in harnessing ancient knowledge to manipulate telluric currents from the Axis Mundi,  the supposed centre of the world or the universe.   A Holiday season-themed scenario for Wretched New Flesh - which could work in any other near future setting - taking place in a biotech corporation's Christmas party (yeah, very original, we know). An eclectic ensemble of individuals converges upon the Nakatomi Towers complex for their lavish christmas party. Most guests are employees who diligently serve the corporation's vision, but others are media representatives, business partners or clientèle seeking the pinnacle of genetic advancements. As laughter and Christmas carols echoes through the building, fate takes an unforeseen turn: A group of terrorists seizes control of the Nakatomi Towers, shattering the revelry with chaos and fear. The Christmas party transforms into a battleground, and the attendees find themselves entangled in a high-stakes struggle against time.Amidst the confusion and peril, the Player characters must unravel the terrorists plot before catastrophe strikes. Each character's hidden motivations and unique skills will be put to the test as they race against the clock to halt the assailants and restore order.
