star icon star icon star icon star icon star icon
Wretched New Flesh: Orbital Decay is a gritty industrial science-fiction setting that can be used as standalone, though it is primarily meant to be an expansion to the dark and twisted universe of Wretched New Flesh (160 pages). Building upon the surreal and nightmarish world of Avalidad, Orbital Decay explores the depths of human ambition, desperation, and depravity as we venture beyond Earth’s atmosphere, establishing orbital stations and colonies on other planets within the solar system. This setting draws heavy inspiration from iconic films such as Alien, Aliens, Outland, Escape from New York, Stalker, Solaris, Event Horizon, and Pandorum, expertly weaving themes of isolation, claustrophobia, desperation, fear, and horror into the fabric of its narrative. As humanity reaches for the stars in search of resources, knowledge, and power, the ever-present influence of Takeda Technologies and other known corporations extend their reach into the cold void of space.

Penney Tower, more properly the Penney Technopolis Project, is an technological marvel and early experimental arcology built in the suburban London borough of Stentonford, to the Southwest of the city proper. Built between 1970 and 1975, this was the pet project of architect and scientist Doctor Rory Hardon and was built as a futuristic 'perfect community' using high technology to be self-sustaining, self-reliant, self-regulating and self-contained. Dr. Hardon had previously worked on Avalidad's visionary architecture through the 1950s and 60s, as well as numerous other architectural projects at interesting places all around the world. Nobody goes to Penney Tower any more, and most people have forgotten about it. There's something strange about the way it has been forgotten, and that those early settlers in the new project – including Doctor Hardon, haven't been heard of since the structure opened (157 pages) Penney Tower is a city sourcebook and an alternative location for the world of Wretched New Flesh by James 'Grim' Desborough. The Celluloid Killer

star icon star icon star icon star icon star icon
star icon star icon star icon star icon star icon
In Celluloid Killer, the third instalment of the Crime City Blues series, players are assigned the roles of Hammettville Police detectives who are investigating a gruesome murder. As they delve deeper into the case, they come to the realisation that a serial killer is on the loose (62 pages). The Celluloid Killer is obsessed with movies, and copies the murder scenes of well-known films for his killings. The adventure is firmly rooted in the thriller genre and should be played as a traditional police procedural, with no supernatural elements. However, it is connected to Sexual Holocaust, the first adventure in the Crime City Blues series, which had a horror theme inspired by Hellraiser. That scenario introduced a group of sexual demons known as The Apostles of Pain, who manage to cross over into our world.

Total Party Kill - Properly Challenging Encounters for OSR and Similar Games

star icon star icon star icon star icon star icon
star icon star icon star icon star icon star icon
Players are dicks. You go to all the trouble of crafting a fantastic adventure with deep and meaningful NPCs and memorable encounters, and they head off in the opposite direction with a comedy goblin you made up to populate a coaching inn. The bastards. Sometimes you just want a little payback. It is often said that the only limit in the world of tabletop RPGs is your imagination. However, we frequently limit those imaginations and find it very hard to stray from the sacred cows of the hobby. In traditional role-playing games, and increasingly since the shift toward narrative play in the 1990s, the players and Games Master work together to overcome challengesand tell an engaging story. However, what if you want to switch things up and try a different approach? To do something radically different, even heretical? What if, instead of working together, the players are pitted against a common foe: the Games Master? This booklet introduces a new style of tabletop RPG gameplay, where the players must navigate a world filled with danger and treachery, where the Games Master is playingthe role of the ultimate adversary and is explicitly out to get them. The stakes are higher than ever, and the players must work together to outsmart and outmanoeuvre the Games Master's cunning traps and devious plans while he does his best to anticipate and overcome their usual shenanigans. This adversarial gameplay mode offers a fresh and exciting challenge for experienced and novice players alike. It encourages creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cooperative play in ways different from traditional RPGs.By turning the usual mode of collaborative storytelling on its head, this game offers a unique experience that will keep players coming back for more of a challenge and encourage the Games Master to think about encounters and hazards in a new light. So, are you ready to take on the challenge? Gather your group, choose your characters, and prepare to face the ultimate test of skill, cunning and emotional continence in Total Party Kill.
